The Carmel is a high power, air cooled, fiber based femtosecond laser with an ultra compact laser head, about 100 times smaller than many Ti:Sapphire lasers with a similar output power levels. It is an easy to use, rugged, industrial laser system.
The Carmel’s operation is based upon the company’s proprietary is a passively mode-locked fiber laser technology, utilizing a saturable absorber, to ensure reliable startup and stable long term performance, with hands free operation. The Carmel offers user-friendly front panel control knobs for flexible system adjustment. The pulse width is less than 100 fs with a negligible pedestal. It has polarization-maintaining (PM) output and excellent beam quality, with an M2 < 1.2. An RF synchronization output is provided as a trigger signal.
